Intro to Coastal SUP

The aim of this course is to provide paddlers with the knowledge and awareness that will enable them to confidently evaluate and assess risks associated with coastal paddling. This one day course will give you a good, basic understanding to help you paddle in coastal environments safely and enjoyably. It is aimed at Stand Up paddlers that have perhaps obtained some inland water experience and / or completed a level one ASI or BSUPA Tier 1 course. Course content is 50% theory and 50% practical. Course materials are provided and are included in the cost. Course duration is 6 hours.

Minimum paticipant ability requirements: To take part in this course, you must be able to swim at least 50m and be confident Stand Up Paddling in moderately choppy conditions.
